>>85838229/who/ divegrass mane-san here,
Thank you for your confidence so far.
This is the third season that I've been manager of /who/, and I can't say the results have been stellar. It's been fun for sure, much more fun than I thought it would be when I was handed the reigns. And I'm really glad that (You) are enjoying it as well. This last match sure has been a big pick me up.
I wanted to take the opportunity to discuss the future of the team come future seasons and I want your input about your opinions.
To keep it short, the team performance hasn't been awful but hasn't been good either. /vt/ League 6 was a bit of an outlier where I made a big mistake and wasn't able to fix it during the league; every one of those losses were absolutely deserved. This season was much better but my abilities are still not enough to send the team through group phase without a healthy dose of luck.
In future seasons I don't expect my abilities to increase a whole lot. Probably can guarantee to keep the team safe from the lowest positions, but knockouts are a long shot and the star an impossibility. I'd like /who/ to have a star.
To be clear, this is not a resignation. But I want to open the door to a few different posibilities to consider for the next season.
Regarding the management of the team, there's basically four possibilities:
> Keep it as it is As I mentioned, I'll try my best but don't expect necessarily big results.
> Try automatic tacticsInstead of managing tactics, let the organizers take care of that. It can mean getting either a league-winning "export", a midfielder one, or a horrible one like /wah/ did this year, and basically having no say on it for a whole league. It's a risk but it is what most teams use. It's what /who/ used for leagues 3 and 4 as well.
>New managerIf someone wants to try its hand at it he can step up and see how it goes. I would assist in whatever is needed during the first league, and don't worry, it's not as bad as it looks at first.
> Co-managementSimilar to above, but technically, a team can have any number of managers. So if someone wants to try it out, we can manage the team jointly for a league and see where it goes from there. If you have an itch to try it out this is your chance. There will (probably) be a learning event sometime in the next months that you can use as a warmup for the real thing.
No vote yet; I'd like to know what are your opinions on the different options. As I've mentioned, this is fun and I'll gladly serve in any capacity, but ultimately the team is the thread's. I open the floor to you all. Speak now.
>tl;dr: Please discuss what you want the future of the divegrass team to be
