Obviously there's tradition and culture with each thread but these aren't nation states so taking in the bad isn't really mandatory to partake in these them so splitting away from it shouldn't be seen as that big of a deal. I remember Pippa telling a story about one of her family members and constantly making jokes about killing her rabbits and eating them. They were obviously jokes and she knew they wouldn't do it but it's still made her angry and uncomfortable nonetheless. I think a good chunk of the likers felt the same way with the constant shitting on Lia and decided to change that by making our own space and our own culture.
