Even a girl venting because she is having a bad time can make the audience feel good with emotions like compassion and whatnot. For instance you feel bad when you see a beggar on the streets because you don't want to (or can't) help them, but if IronMouse says she needs pic related people will feel good even if they don't give money to her.
It's important for you to remember that streamers, vtubers specially, are successful because of what emotions they evoke on their audience, nothing more. Maybe they have some MINOR talent like singing pretty, but if that was her selling point she would be a singer with a contract with a big record company or if she were a gamer she would participate in events and if she were a great artist she would slave away for azur lane...
