I'm pretty sure some of the ENs have said
or people just know through RM knowledge, I'm not really sure which that the names they use for their pets on stream is different from their real one (for safety purposes), so maybe it's the same case here.
Alternatively if we assume the existence of Kota2, Towa asked Shuba the question assuming that she would know which one she was talking about. I would take that to mean that she currently only has Kota, but talked to Shuba about Kota2 at one point when she was in possession of it.
