And naturally all the main companies want to push streams more than curated content because streams are piss cheap to make, while actually make videos requires editors and actual effort to create while not getting the easy afk audience and free donations.
While it makes sense from an economic perspective the focus on streams has irrevocably ruined vtubing as a genre.
Nothing hurts me more than seeing vtubing becoming synonymous with streaming in the eyes of modern fans.
