I was listening to ASMR in bed last night as I usually do and I randomly had a thought but does it bother anyone else that 90% of ASMR on youtube isn't even fucking ASMR? At best it's "woman whispers into mono microphone", and at worst they don't even fucking try to whisper. I was listening to one where there was a fucking alarm sound effect in it randomly. Shondo and Pillow are practically the only ASMRtists I listen to nowadays since most of the good stuff is in Japanese.
