>>37156408You're lucky. I've seen plenty of artists say never to trace at all for any reason. And they even get really stuck up and aggressive about it. They say you learn nothing but that's not true at all. You learn how shapes go and how form works better when tracing and most important of all, you learn to draw using your arm for movement and not your wrist. Hell every time I use my wrist I notice I get fatigued faster and my strokes are always off but when I use my arm I get the sketch done a lot faster because it's the lines I want.
