I give my oshi something on the order of $3k a month via streamlabs donations and change the display name to Anonymous and generally try to make the message topical to whatever she's talking about or playing at the time. I've never expected anything in return for this and I've never tried to do anything like escalate into DMs or even reveal my youtube name. My biggest fear is that she'll somehow figure out who I am, because I don't want special treatment for it at all.
