Sennheiser only just learned how to have treble in their sets and Shure has consistently some of the worst value of any midrange IEM. Etymotic, Sony, Moondrop, and Tripowin (linsoul house brand) all completely destroy those companies both in terms of price/performance and performance, and with the upcoming Planar IEM deluge competition is about to get really fucking tough. It's already insanely tough when $20 IEMs have identical tuning to $800 sets but those expensive sets still have resolution from multi driver setups and better components, but the upcomming planars are going to completely destroy the technicalities valuation especially since Moondrop is planning on coming out with a <$150 planar that's probably gonna be tuned with their VSDF/skewed harman target and if they avoid the 8K peak it'll be another Aria moment.
