>>73551945Is the stuff you spilled water soluble? You can soak it in a water and washing powder solution and then wash it as usual. If it's really stubborn, mixing washing powder into a paste and leaving that on the stained spot for an hour or so can help lift it.
If it's some form of oil, you can try the above, but it won't be very effective.
