While Attack on Titan's ending isn't bad, it did leave some plot holes and unresolved mysteries. That said, people see Code Geass with a rose tainted glass and forget the mess that was season 2 and ending of season 1.
Not to mention, we had 2 shit filler episodes in a 50 episode series.
That said, both Code Geass and Attack on Titan are top 20 anime of all time.
Death note would be #1 but post episode 25 I lost interest. It had an amazing ending though
