With Coco, at least for me, it was imminently apparent that she is gifted at expressing herself in a bunch of different ways. Even though she was trying to be her character in a particular way, you saw a bunch of sides of her right out of the gate, and got a sense of her skill at connecting to others by being herself: her dorky, stubborn, crass, caring self.
