>>69009246not really, the EN market is unironically pretty negligible right now, it's been in long-term decline since its peak in 2021. NijiEN specifically peaked in August 2022, and its dropoff even relative to the rest of the industry has been much faster.
The promise of the EN market was always whether it would eventually grow into anything worthwhile since the Japanese market has fundamental constraints going forwards due to the shrinking population, but if the EN market is only going to wither away in its current form then it's probably better to shut it all down and try again in a few years with a different business and management model. Nijisanji already did that once, this is the second incarnation of Nijisanji EN after all. Maybe third time is the charm, but the first step is to shut it down and wait a few years before trying again.
