>>47109643Haven't played Control, only know that it's like one of the first games which implemented Ray Tracing
>>47109925I owned the game since launch. I was there when you could die from a 1cm slope drop.
>>47109715Actually I had 6 playthroughs
First playthrough was a confused hybrid assault-netrunner Nomad, Nomad lifepath is the best for first playthroughs
Second playthrough was a tanky melee swordsman Streetkid, who can withstand the 4 star police waves
Third playthrough was a hybrid pistol-netrunner Corpo, kind of a glass cannon assassin
Fourth was a more focused tech-netrunner Nomad, this was after patch 1.3
Fifth was a Cyberninja Corpo, this was after 1.5 when they reworked the throwing knives and added apartments
Sixth was an attempt at no death run, do all quests-side quests-gigs-NCPD, save on apartments only, no fast travel, and must finish the game through the Don't Fear The Reaper ending in very hard difficulty. The game is really easy to clear even on very hard but it's very easy to get careless and die unnecessary death. I died once during a Nomad side quest where you have to find a kidney implant for one of the Aldecaldos in the camp, luckily I had second heart. Missions where there are one hit KO mechanics like fall to death becomes anxiety-inducing. I made it though.
