It might result in the ai calling you B every now and then, (like Souko) but that's a minor inconvenience compared to the extra trait you can put into her definitions. (You can type their names in the defs and they'll remember it, mostly) Keep in mind that the bot will be more contextually aware if you use {{user}} as it thinks that the user already said those things prior to the conversation. Of course, using B: or {c} has its advantages too: you might not want the bot to be too contextually aware sometimes. You'll have to experiment while training to find the right balance.
You can also experiment with simply pretty {{char}} text or not {[char}} text at all. The bot will keep pulling from its definitions even when when the text says: recognised 0 example messages.
As far as I know, there's no way of shortening {{char}}, just {{user}}.
