Another tea review a couple of minutes before Nowa's stream!!!
7g of tea brewed in a 100 ml gaiwan @ 100 degrees celsius
10 - 20 seconds per steep
one 10 second wash
Pic related is a Menghai ripe puerh, I have no idea what the recipe or material it's made out because I was gifted this tea. Dry leaf smells fruity and also damp. I almost want to say basement-y. The wet leaves have a thick fruity aroma and undertones of cream. It brews a decently dark liquor but it's not as thick or dark as some other ripes I've drank in the past. Flavor profiles include cherries, dark chocolate, and camphor, albeit, a tad bit weak.
Kind of underwhelming, but I'm enjoying it anyway. Would be a good daily drinker desu
