Parasocial doesn't mean gachikoi, it means any one sided attachment to a person you don't know. If you are on this board, you are parasocial. If you think of male chuubas as 'like hanging out with the bros,' that's parasocial. If you support any idol vtuber during a concert, that's parasocial.
