Political marriage would likely mesh well with what you're suggesting, but that also comes with an inherit chip on anon's shoulder he would have to work through at some point, and I'm not really sure that would allow for Luna's antics to shine properly. I'd have to think more on that angle.
The other style that would be intended to appeal to a more free living Luna, would be a wandering Anon / middle class adventurer. He kinda gets by on his own, but then by potential accident, or by answering a call to rise, he ends up helping a bigshot that would set the other things in motion. I could see if he landed himself a gig protecting some nobleman's son/daughter that is part of the court, that would allow him and Luna to initially meet.
A funny thing that would make me grin immensely if I could find a way to fit it in, is for some luknight to just look like vegeta, and when he jobs and cries, Luna laughs. That would make my day.
