Seeing the Vshojo stuff made me do a dive into some of the deranged anti's that inhabit this site and birdapp, and it was honestly kind of shocking. Not that anything /here/schizos do is excusable, but at least when you see (schizo) ranting about (vtuber) here it's some weirdo who did at one point have a social connection with his obsession. Then you go to twitter and see people unironically dedicating hours of their time to seething about Froot or Veibai or whoever and it's entirely, ridiculously parasocial. Even in my most chuddy days, I never understood that sort of angry rant reaction style content or its appeal, I'd really love to psychoanalyze one of those people someday.
