I know it's ran by the Twitch mafia guys, aka the big pre-black zoomer boom era, with a massive disproportionate influence over Twitch management. I imagine it gives you better protection from shit that would get you banned from Twitch if you weren't part of their club and probably rigs the algorithm or front page to get them more exposure.
Seems kinda risky considering Twitch as a company seems always 1 or 2 big news stories away from imploding and getting axed by Amazon who make more money from the tech than the platform itself.
