>>4385731>If you are doing art for the money then you are braindead.It's true that there are better options to earn large amounts of money, but artists really should have the right to protect their work against unauthorized use or monetization. Weird watermarks are a poor solution, and I personally don't vouch for them, but sometimes that's all an artist can afford to do at the moment.
Remember that some of these artists may also be partially or even wholly dependent on on sales of their work (merchandising, patreon etc.), so it's to be expected that they want to defend their means of income against theft and misuse.
