it was so much fun! i enjoyed watching every single match, and i'm glad everyone's able to have fun! it's a really well done tournament, the presentation and the hosts were all great!
and my boy! his winning speech was so thoughtful but also bittersweet; his team did great but so did he! just like feesh said, one of the reasons they won was because of the player placements, and he did really well as a 4th player and anchor considering the opponents. not to mention he gave tips and encouragement to the team members, keeping the morale up. he also talked a lot to usami too so he didn't feel left alone.
i'm happy the photo he took won the photo contest too since he was so satisfied when taking the picture. the presents are much better than the first place's too so i thought they deserve those. and since he wanted that controller specifically, i'm glad it all worked out!
ah and i love his passionate commentary too.. he proved that he can do both english and japanese ones so i'm waiting for him to get offered a hosting job in the future..
ah all in all i'm just so proud of my boy. i'm glad your hard work paid off. i hope you can sleep soundly knowing everything turned out more than fine.
