Reposting my warning to Cover about Kanata years ago. Yes Im mad
>>97739744Kanata's perspective on hololive is a bit unique compared to other holos. at least from what I've heard.
Here's somethings she said recently
>She prepares a backup plan if holo collapses>didnt even think the vtuber industry will exist in 10 years (she said this about 3 years ago)>said that she has no particular loyalty towards holo compared to other members she's aware of>will graduate if her ideals/direction aren't respected>despite that she strives to be a team player because she's very grateful for the opportunity>accepts almost every projects/tasks offered by the company as long as it doesn't violate her ideals>helps other members whenever she could>thinks that trust between fans and their oshi is the most important thing to be maintained>if you did something that makes your fans to doubt you it's very hard to remedy>a lot of times there's nothing that can be done>that's why she tries to be as transparent as she could to her fans>public stigma and shit stirrers often make these things very difficult as they flame things out of context and distorts fan expectations>hopes to be in holo as long as she could>gets along with pekora recentlyI think Kanata is confidently part of the safe holos in terms of graduation, but her being further from the FubuMicomet clique and closer to the PekoMarine clique might risk her desired brand direction not being respected by Cover which might likely cause her to quit.
Amongst all the holos that graduate from hololive, they all share similar qualities:
>popular enough that they probably gives more to the group than they get in terms of fans and resources>not part of or doesn't share the same goals and dreams as the top holos that currently directs the direction of the entire company>not as mentally resilient as other membersKanata is unfortunately part of this small group of holos. Hopefully Cover realizes that growing larger and larger doesn't bring much other than demerits to the members that are already more than well off and content of what they have or gets to do.
They need to have a better strategy to retain high performing talents that doesn't particularly share their common dream and goals.
