>>83317385well not all trapcards are conditional, something like raigeki break is one you can activate in response to anything your opponent does, and MST can be set as a piece of targeted S/T removal to play on the opponents turn like a trap card, but it must be set to do so. there's a risk to setting cards to play on the opponents turn as it makes them vulnerable to removal while leaving the cards I don't want to risk in my hand and unable to be played until my next turn. it essentially makes a spectrum of card vulnerability that correlates with how in play a card is, if i want to play cards on the opponents turn to be more mana efficient, i must risk those cards by setting them in the open. it also means that if i draw into a card on the opponents turn, it can't be live until mine
