>>89041209You say that but Yuri is the true masochistic genre, early cancelations, botched anime adaptations, the artist going MIA out of nowhere because her girlfriend dumped her, low sales, unfulfilled relationships, all subtext no context, retconed relationships, there has been like two kisses between girl in anime in the past 2 years, fucking Suletta and Miorine were the most popular couple of the year and they still tired to retcon their marriage... it's a hard genre to follow, specially when sometimes the artist out right bail on artists of the genre like what happened with Yagamiki.
I stay loyal because lesbians give my life meaning, but I couldn't imagine voluntarily sticking with Yuri if you like/tolerate het or BL, the genres with the biggest audiences will always have the healthier scenes simply because of the monetary flow within them
