However, it is missing the redshift effect on the left side.
Its a very pretty video, the only reason why I didnt choose to use it is that it does not show the actual crossing of the event horizon.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AiJpvergBISince its something that is not often thought about, and took me a long time to realize; with a black hole with an accretion disk, you see a band of light surround the event horizon on its top and bottom. Afaik, this is not because there is anything orbiting the black hole there, you are seeing the light from the accretion disk behind the black hole bending around the black hole on both of its poles, making it appear as if there was stuff there when there isnt.
I personally find that really cool.
