Lord of the Board 2 ISREAL
In less than one week, the form will open and people will be able to submit entries for the second Lord of the Board tournament.
>Who can enter?
Anybody that wants to, so long as their thread isn't dead or banned.
>What qualifies as a "dead" thread?
We are exercising some discretion here based on the thread's subject matter and other factors, but if you haven't had a thread for weeks or months on end, you might be in trouble. Our intent is not to exclude niche threads for smaller talents or projects, but to cull back on irrelevant content and prevent catalogfags and other boards from trying to invade.
>What will I need to do as a manager?
Fill out the form, leave contact info, actually reply to us when we ask you questions through that contact info, and honestly that's about it.
>So what exactly are we making for our thread?
The form will allow you to design a representative of your thread. A thread rep can be a vtuber, a thread meme, or some other cultural reference that directly callsigns your thread. /ltg/ (Large Tits Global) has a thread rep that is just Low Tier God because they have the same acronym and the joke stuck, for example. The AkiChocoMel thread's rep is a unique design that has references to the various blonde women in it.
>Does my thread's rep have to be male? I've heard only male wrestlers are allowed.
Your thread's rep can be female character, but it will be made with a male wrestler's body. This is done because there are a lot of retarded restrictions on female wrestlers in the 2k games, heavily limiting their access to certain moves, mechanics, and match types.
>Do I need to own 2k22 for this?
No, and we in fact discourage you from buying 2k22 for this if you don't already own it. The servers will close at the end of this year, so we're taking this opportunity to use what's already been made one last time before we have to start from scratch in LotB3 (assuming we get to 3)
>Will there be commentary this time?
A commentary sign-up sheet will be released once the match card is finalized. If we get commentators, there will be commentary. If not, we'll play the music because BBB is dogshit at solo commentary for wrestling.
>Can I cut promos?
Please do.
>How many threads can I manage?
One. If you can make your thread's own wrestler in your own legal copy of 2k22, you can manage for two! But that's it.
>Why are we using 2k22 instead of 2k23? 2k23 has way cooler mod support!
Because we've already done most of the work in 2k22 already, and setting up 2k23 from scratch would take time. Since the holiday season (among other personal obligations) are upon us by the time the event will be happening, we wanted to try and save time as much as possible on production.
As always, you can fling questions at me here, and link this post to shill to your threads.
