In 1v1 it's basically like a rock paper scissor, if you got the advantage then you can win much more easily by exploiting that advantages, but also even with advantages you can still have a chance to lose if the opponent know how to cover their weakness with their other abilities hence the 20% variable. The 2v2 and 3v3 of course become much more complex matchup because they involve 2 and 3 times much more variables, not counting how those group work with each other. Not just height (mass) of each fighter and how quickly they change stance, we also need to consider the area where they fight in, just like dark places can make a normal color appear brighter, certain terrain can increase combat capability of certain fighter, like how much resource they can use in a certain area(rosemi's plant manipulating ability in a garden vs in an urban area), and mobility in certain terrain (finana of course can swim faster than any other contestant) and many more.
