But in the end, the idol schtick isn't even necessary because every guy who's successful can be sold as an "idol" to people in general. The best male idol is someone guys want to be like and women want to be with. That's not idolish males. It's men who are strong, brave, courageous and undaunted in the face of adversity. Men who are larger than life and can leap tall buildings in a single bound. Men who can bench press two long haul trailers without breaking a sweat. Men who are so unrealisticly based that you'd think they couldn't possibly exist in real life. That's a true male idol.
