Not to defend Niji, but it IS a corporation. As a corporation it has one (1) singular goal, and that is to make money for its investors. They aren't your friends, and they most certainly aren't friends of the livers. They're employers and employees and they don't owe each other anything outside of what's obligated by the hiring contract.
