Both were foreign girls fairly alone in japan in a chubba company with barely anyone to confide in. Kiara took it a bit far on stream, but she's a pretty shit actor when it comes to these kind of things. That said you could definitely see their friendship early on, and Kiara definitely looked up to Mori as she was a more talented person than her but somehow still lacked self confidence, and Kiara just wanted to see her be happy with herself. In that sense it was always a more one way deal, but they definitely were a thing. And that one last karaoke stream together where Kiara sung airplanes I could believe it was more than fake tears coming up.
Once Kiara left however there was no real reason to bait it anymore. Kiara had everyone she ever needed back in her life and was perfectly fine. Then KFP schizos came out the woodworks and would lose their shit at the slightest mention of Mori or Kiara collabing with anyone as "cheating" and Kiara had to shit all down their throats and tell them to shut up about Takamori so they could just enjoy working with other people.
