Thanks, I was constantly switching settings and re-doing what little I had of my story over and over because I couldn't decide on what time period I wanted it to be. I guess I can at least rule out present day. There's a lot more context to the story and what it's about which will affect the combat, but I just wanted to see what everyone would think purely about the setting.
>>27034207>more automatic weapons in the latter?Mostly just this, yeah. 1910s would use a lot more bolt-actions, lever-actions, revolvers, etc. It's not like the whole story will be pure fighting though, the setting will also affect things like transportation, medicine and other technologies.
