>>10060863To each their own. Ion Fury does get some things right and some things wrong. Always felt very tough but fair even on the hardest difficulty, all weapons feel useful but are better when used in the right situation, even ambushes are bearable and you get all the tools you need(radar for the casual + usual medkit).
It has issues with length, ammo spread leaning too heavily on shotgun and pistol and dialogue that misses the mark trying too hard to buy into the old school FPS characterization.
IF is generally easier to recommend to a newbie than something like Blood IMO.
But that's just my personal thoughts on a game that I could see Qu playing. It has the least amount of "filters" besides Dusk(she hates horror, she won't be able to handle the wendigos). I'd like Amid Evil to get out there but it contains the Forge which has some nasty platforming, traps and generally bad for people who have a bad sense of direction.
