Vtubers should be valued and respected as people, and not puppets controlled by unfeeling Japanese business men who want to leech off their success to appease shareholders and to fund failed projects that don't benefit the chuubas. By owning their own IP, vtubers in companies like VShojo or Mythic have to be treated well or they will just leave. JP corpos hold the threat of being unpersoned and the fact that their fans are loyal to brand and not the girls, to saddle them with restrictions, keep them in line, and to make the idea of leaving a much riskier prospect. I don't hate Hololive or any of the girls, but I'll only try watching them after they leave.
