Listening to all of these chuubas doomposting about Twitter dying is making me want to put on a cardboard sign and run around telling everyone to join the Fediverse. Though now that I think about it from the perspective of a content creator (using social media to expand your reach and be seen by new people), the Fediverse might not fulfill that need. With the amount of people on it right now, it would function closer to Discord than it would Twitter due to how specialized everyone's feeds are. You would only be able to see (and be seen by) people that follow you or someone on your instance, so people interested in you or your content would have to already be seeking out similar content, assuming that all of the chuubas congregated on the same few instances.
