>>102930001What you are freaking out about is not new. The option to provide a valid source of identification has always been an option to prove YouTube/Google wrong if they dinged your account.
What YouTube/Google is rolling out on 13th August is not a requirement for US citizens to send a government ID to them. NOT A REQUIREMENT. They are rolling out a new system for age verification that looks at things like the age of the account, or where the account has been, or what has been purchased under that account and other digital footprint. 99.9999999999999% of people will see no change on August 13th.
