I remember being in a gas station with my friend.
Michigan has 6% sales tax. so 6 cents get added to every dollar.
My friend got like 2 hot dogs at 99 Cents, and a Large drink at 1.49.
The clerk rank it up to like 4.50. I did not notice the problem, my friend knew right away.
he did the math in his HEAD!!!!
He was telling the clerk the price was wrong, and the Clerk was just giving him a DUMB LOOK!!!!
So I am sure, if you do not do the math, you are getting over charged all the time, for stuff, you buy. OR prices that are over inflated at the cash register.
So basic math is important. IN your head, and fast. and its with you all your life.
