Now that I've woken up and eikawa ended, let me respond here...
>>20044248Maybe let's move this discussion to /vtwbg/. Yes, naturally there should be more of a pushback if there are plans like that, and the more interests /nasfaqg/ has in the island, the more willing people there will be to protect it heavily. Mori is the top volume coin (since she's a really good performance there) in NASFAQ, so it'd be reasonable most traders would want to defend /morig/.
Regarding residency/nationality of /nasfaqg/ traders I imagine it'd depend. There are people who post exclusively on /nasfaqg/, there are people who lurk in their oshi's general, and there are some who started in the split and then moved to /nasfaqg/. According to /vtwbg/'s setting what would make me a deadbeat is having Mori as my oshi (religion-wise), and given that I lurk /morig/ I'd probably moslty be a /nasfaqg/ deadbeat who sometimes visits the island.
You are right that /morig/ would better support the northern trading route in the Holocontinent bay, I meant that /nasfaqg/ is to the south of it, the goods from Niji and neutral countries flowing through those straits and potentially up north.
