Countdown to VILLS Edition

Don't get it twisted. There are, in fact, other things happening today. Mel's going to be on some podcast she still hasn't named, Mouse plans on collaborating with the monkey, and Silver not only has a stream planned, but a new outfit debut to go along with it. But it all kind of gets overshadowed by the big thing that's been on the horizon for ages. Way back when the VSJ+ Minecraft server first began we were dropped hints towards tonight's plans. Nyan wanted nothing more than to reveal to the world what was happening, while Mouse mentioned telling her mom and almost crying she was so excited. It wasn't long before we found out what was happening, and as the date drew closer there were other surprises in store. Nyan commissioned and got idol outfits designed for all 8 VShojos, and while the trio of Mouse, Silver, and Nyan are the only ones with actual models at the moment we can only hope that the others decide to get their own designs made and available for everyone else's viewing pleasure. Even if it's only as a one-off gag.
The group has had a lot of hype and anxiety over this moment and the stories coming out of it are really great. The best one probably coming from Silver, who said that Mamavale will be having a sleepover with her so that they can watch tonight. Mouse has also previously mentioned that her own aged parents will be doing their best to stay up far past their usual bedtime to see it live, and while there's been no news on Nyan's end it's easy to assume there's a fair bit of hype there as well. It may just be a small moment as part of a huge event with many, many more people but it means the world to those participating and gives them a taste of the idol experience.
