>>48583660>By the way, I read through the Harold Maine postsYeah I decided pretty early that it was going to be a streamer/superchat allegory, and after workshopping some ideas, I went with using the red letter introduced early as a nod to the red superchat, and was hoping that the weakness of the conclusion would be made up for with the "oh, that's what that was all about"-ness of the callback. In all honesty, part 3 was rushed since it took waaaay too long to make and I just wanted to participate in the thread and do some requests again, so yeah Harold pulled all those "obvious connections" straight out of her ass to wrap it up.
If I ever do something like this again, I'll likely keep the story open ended with each "part" and not preplan it, so I can change course as need be.
