In Cooking and a Comet, I originally had a scene with Suisei and Anemachi that took place between the concert and the picnic. In it, Anemachi was taste-testing the dishes and giving advice about the dishes Suisei was making for the picnic, as well as teasing out Suisei's feelings.
The scene had three goals:
1. To serve as a bridge/interlude between Act 2 and 3
2. To show off Suisei's perfectionism
3. To give hints as to why Suisei likes Anon
I wasn't really feeling what I wrote, (Suisei felt a bit OOC, and I wasn't really comfortable writing Anemachi) so instead of reworking it I cut it for space, since the fic was already super long. The ideas here got repurposed and incorporated later in the twilight picnic scene.

Cut it cause it didn't really serve any purpose beyond the idea that they (the fans) don't quite see the real her but you do. Nothing was repurposed from this since it was a bit self-fellating.

job offer was changed where Anon shows off his capabilities at work. Cut because the scene didn't really serve a purpose besides showing Anon off. I everything that the scene communicated I compressed into that paragraph in the final draft.
>“The manager? On vacation with her boyfriend.”I think that's it, I can't remember anything from any of the other stuff I've written. They were generally done from the get go.
