I've got an anxiety disorder, but it also helps me notice when other people are feeling anxious and empathize with them better.
People with OCD will often make incredible bankers, bookkeepers and editors because they are ALL about the details and will pick up on tiny issues nobody else will.
Lots of creatives (artists, comedians, streamers) have ADHD because in some ways that constant desire for stimulation and the rapid fire way of thinking lends itself well to those professions. My own brother has ADHD and he himself professes how the hyperfixation aspect of it can actually help him substantially when he's working on something he's passionate about. It lets him focus in a way "normal" people count and devote 100% of himself to something.
Mumei isn't "disabled" or "wrong" because she has ADHD, and treating her like she is is condescending. It's a part of her personality and being and you can't separate someone from the way their mind works like that. It definitely makes some things harder for her (like Civ duties), but it also is what helps her so comfortably tangent for hours or get completely locked in when she's playing the Watermelon game or Holocure and trying to beat her score.
So yes, Mumei's ADHD is cute. Because Mumei is cute and "ADHD" is just a collection of shared experiences and symptoms people with slight differences in the ways their brains regulate the expression and reuptake of dopamine and norepinephrine have, not some terrible taboo pathology that people should be ashamed to have.
