By nature, this adds some stakes to the whole thing since it adds "should you switch them back" while making "Can you switch them back" a relevant conflict to the story.
I know a lot of what fed the brain bug was alt!Sui sex ideas where the idea that she's stuck here go deal with it assuage any guilt about fucking her instead of your suisei, but... It feels like it's throwing what having our!Sui be relevant in the story adds in order to help make the crazy failed idol sex feel more justified.

Also I wish that anon that wrote that fucking alt!suisei VN demo would come back. That was a pretty solid concept.
