It's not something that I hold the man or the woman particularly responsible for and it's not a hating women thing because there are plenty of women who do the same thing with male tubers. But it indicates that many, many people can't find emotional fulfillment and that they're lonely and their lives suck and so they get hooked on the methadone of a cute anime girl chatting with the camera.
I like some vtubers it's why I come here but the investment that lonely people develop in online personalities and the fact that vtubing is designed, specifically, to cultivate that investment, is bad.
