>>79964830Fubuki has tried for years to normalize it, because she is good friends with several of the JP Stars. It is a slow slug to change the culture and she is not the only one, but has been the most vocal. Plenty of the female talent find it obnoxious that they have to tip-toe around this vocal group of people - and have commented on the issue. From the perspective of female content creators, it ties to old school idol and cabaret culture (where the ladder has roots in brothel culture). For EN, Kiara, Bae and Kronii have expressed they wished this boundary could come down - Mori straight up collabed with male content creators she creates music with while she was still fairly new on the scene.
I agree that it should NEVER be forced. If someone does not want to, its not for any of us to push it. People should be allowed to make content as they please, imo its the loud fans that are trying to push an agenda who are the problem, not the streamers who want to make content their way.
>>79965131Precisely, its a real shame that content creators get hamstrung, by people who wish they could section them off, to create the illusion that entertainers exist to indulge in their need for gender-segregation. Its the same with the Vtuber company wars, many of the streamers are friends behind the scenes (irrespective of company lines), and have to keep a strict distance to not piss off the tribalists. Its sad.
