>>62166727Twitch polls are a shit way to investigate anything like this, the sample size is not big enough to be properly representative of the whole community and it's too easy to sway chat both accidentally or intentionally.
What could be interesting is making a more comprehensive google form with a bunch of questions (something in the style of pic related, like rate on a scale of 1-5 how much you enjoy this or that aspect of streams), I'm sure he could find some buddy who does data science and has experience with surveys like these to help him ask the proper questions. Show the survey off on a devstream as neutrally as possible, clarify any questions if there is confusion, then let it sit pinned in the twitch chat and on discord for a whole week or even longer and then collect the answers and review them on a subsequent devstream.
That would be a good way to get actual worthwhile feedback and reflecting on things now that we are closing in on a year of streaming wouldn't be strange. Whether or not he chooses to act on it in any capacity, even just knowing what people enjoy can be beneficial. I like this idea a lot, actually, now that I think about it. I don't post on discord, can someone please bring it over there as a suggestion?
