This is gonna sound cruel, but at this point, it’s better for everyone if Baby Bean just dies. If not now, it will just happen later. It’s not healthy to invest so much of your structural stability in the health of a single pet. The moment you adopt a pet, let alone one that was already old, you should already be semi-prepared for the inevitably that they can and will kill over at any moment. That’s just how the world works and no amount of investment of stress over it will change that.
