And the attitude of many people towards their friends usually takes money out of the equation. Just being able to have fun with them, laugh and spend time with them, is enough. They don't need to give you money and you don't need to give them money.
Similarly, you would definitely rather your friend earn less if they're happier. Money isn't everything, after all.
Anyway, they have lots of people like you, supporting them with the same strength of feeling. And it's obvious that support eventually translates to money, even it doesn't apply to you personally, right?
So the most important thing to them is that the streamer has as much fun as possible. Worry about the money later, it'll work out...somehow.
