at his debut, vox basically did whatever any male vtuber would do and gaybaited with the rest of his friends. his rejected marriage proposal to ike and the sims stream come to mind. vox/ike and vox/mysta were really popular and brought a lot of fujoshi fans to niji en, including myself. they were somewhat boring but pretty entertaining in the beginning, the sex jokes weren't nearly as bad/obnoxious as they are today, and luxiem especially had an overall 'genuine' energy that couldn't really be found anywhere else at the time.
i was pretty upset when he backtracked on the stream where he defended reimu by immediately crying like a little bitch and saying he really loved his fans/obviously showed that he had severe parasocial problems on his side. to be clear i myself never wanted to fuck vox, i actually liked ike quite a bit more, and was really only interested in the yaoi. i wasn't completely put off by him at this point but i did lose a bit of respect for him as a streamer.
when he continued with the romance asmr shit is when i shut him out completely. he dropped the gaybaiting entirely, which i wouldn't have cared about much if it weren't for the constant yumejoshi baiting (yumejoshi are the insane woman who want to fuck him and say that disturbing sexual shit in his chats), the chinese bootlicking, and the uptick in obnoxious sex jokes that carried on through the subsequent nijien debuts.
tl;dr vox is spineless and not a faggot (as much of a faggot as i personally desired) so i stopped caring about him and im sure many other woman who never wanted to fuck him did the same.
this obviously gave him mental issues as he is a menhara britbong and thats why he fell off + does nothing but generic alpha rizzlord panty dropper shit now.
