According to the Wikepedia definition of E-girl, the over whelming majority of the Vtubers discussed here aren't E-girls, since E-girls are primarily defined by being part of the "E-Youth" subculture, which is pretty specific to Tumblr, Twitter and Tiktok. So unless your Oshi has an avatar with this sort of aesthetic or posts usually flirtatious videos on any of the above platforms then no, they probably aren't an E-girl
BUT that's probably not what Hana Machia, or the culturally illiterate ESL's who populate this hobby, mean when they say "E-girl". What they actually mean is E-thot.
An E-Thot, or "Boob tuber" is a woman on the internet, usually a streamer, who uses their sexuality/attractiveness as an actual appeal for personality.
By this definition, I STILL don't think most Vtubers can be qualified as E-thots. E-thotting is very very hard to do as a Vtuber considering that in a world where everyone can be a pretty girl with big boobs, its very difficult to sell yourself if that's all you're bringing to the table.
Most people don't watch Nene Momosuzu because she's flirting with them, but because she's a goofy larger than life personality. That applies to most of Hololive, Niji, and even a good portion of Vshojo.
